The Fox Hotel and Suites is a great place to stay when visiting Banff, it is located 4 blocks away from shopping and dining in downtown Banff. The Bow River is only .6 miles from the property, and the Sulphur Mountain Gondola is 3 miles away.

Featuring all the typical amenities, the highlight of this hotel is the cave like hot tub/pool with open air ceiling, one of the best around. There is free Wi-Fi as well which is very convenient and a Chili’s restaurant located on sight.

The complimentary breakfast that is included offers a make your own waffle station, the rest of the breakfast may leave some to be desired, but the waffle station is a popular feature.

Some of the rooms run on the small side, but still have everything you need, except air conditioning, be prepared for this, during the warm months it may be a problem, you can open a window but that may increase the noises, be warned about this deficiency. That being said, in the winter it is no issue and with all of the activities you’ll be busy doing during the day, this hotel acts as a great home away from home to rest yourself after a long day.

For activities during your stay, the following are located near the hotel: Aerobics, Bicycle rentals, fishing, golfing, helicopter/airplane tours, hiking/biking trails, horse riding, ice skating, mountain biking, rowing or canoeing, skiing – cross country or downhill, skill lessons, snowboarding, snowshoeing and yoga classes.

The hotel and pool are kid friendly, though it does run on the hot side.

For an absolutely stunning vacation the
Marriott Village d’Ile-de-France is a place you won’t soon forget. The location is perfect, situated close to Golf Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Paris, and Centre commercial Val d’Europe as well as being near Aquarium Sea Life Paris and Sealife Aquarium.

The location on its own is a selling point but when you step on the grounds of the Marriott Village d’Ile-de-France you will be welcomed to a quaint, relaxing and stunning setting. It features an indoor pool, spa tub and sauna with all of the things you need like wireless internet access and an internet point located on site (not there are surcharges for the wireless internet). This spa hotel also offers a bar/lounge and a snack bar/deli.

Should you need assistance acquiring tickets for your stay the staff is happy to oblige as well as offering assistance for tours and currency exchange. There is a seasonal outdoor pool, a children’s pool and a children’s club.

There are designated areas for smoking.

The guestrooms either feature a golf course view or lake view. Each room is air-conditioned, includes CD players and laptop compatible safes. Bathrooms are kingdoms in themselves offering deep soaking bathtubs, bidets, makeup/shaving mirrors, and hair dryers. Each unit has a microwave, refrigerator and coffee/tea maker. There are also irons/ironing boards AND windows that open.

This hotel comes highly recommended, it is very close to Disneyland Paris and they have a shuttle in case you don’t have a car. The rooms are large enough to fit between 6-8 people, comfortable beds ranging size allow small or larger groups to fit easily. Some units have a full kitchen with pots, pans, can openers and more. There is also a supermarket nearby, having a kitchen will allow you an easy way to save money. This place will feel more like a home than a hotel, and it is a spa hotel, so you are pampered, which is a perk you probably don’t get at home.

The Marriott Village d’Ile-de-France is a great family hotel, perfectly positioned for the easy park access as well as making it easy to accommodate larger groups. The kitchens are a huge bonus to help you save on money for meals and there are even washer/dryers in some of the units, truly a home away from home.
